No. The software is hosted on the SchoolHub website (http://www.schoolhub.in). Schools do not need to install any special software. All that is needed for someone to use the system is a computer with Internet connection.
No. The school does not need to have an existing website. Parents, teachers and school management will log in to the SchoolHub website to access the system.
No. Since there is no software to install or website to maintain, the school does not need any computer servers or hire any technical staff for maintaining the system. The website is easy to use for regular users (teachers, parents and school management).
No. If the school's records (especially history data for exam results) are not available in electronic format, SchoolHub will take paper records and enter the information in electronic format. However, this process can take time and delay the set up process depending upon how much data has to be manually entered into electronic form.
Parents, teachers and school officers will get individual accounts to access the SchoolHub website. They can access it from any computer anywhere that is connected to the Internet. Different types of people will have different access restrictions on the website. For example, the school principal can view exam results for any student at the school but a parent can view exam results for only their child.
People using the website will be able to contact SchoolHub staff via phone or e-mail for support or questions. Moreover, we will be happy to conduct website demos for teachers and parents at the school (e.g. at Parent-Teacher meetings).
If electronic records are available, we can set up your school on our system and get it online on the Internet within 2 weeks. All set up work will be done by SchoolHub.
If we have to convert paper records in electronic form, the time taken will depend upon how much data needs to be converted. However, in such cases we recommend going live with whatever electronic data is available. Paper records are digitized on a separate, parallel track and made available online as digitization is completed.
